I think you&#039;re right. 

I was pretty fearless until my late twenties and then I tried to become a professional. At that point, I was afraid of doing anything that didn&#039;t fit the &quot;professional&quot; mold.

Now, 30 years later, I find that I&#039;m much more comfortable being myself than I am when I try to force myself into someone else&#039;s concept of who I should be.

Even though I&#039;m much less careful and more fearless than I was, the very thought of falling in love still scares the peanuts out of my M&amp;Ms.
