For today’s Thursday Thirteen, I decided to list the things that get my creative juices flowing. These are things that stir both my visual artwork and my writing. I will be traveling to the place where the book is set in a few months and I was at a place in it where I needed to go absorb and move among the setting to revise some of my scenes as well as fill [...] While there are excellent workshops on creative writing in the Asheville area, especially workshops with a close focus on developing character or writing setting or creating a dramatic plot, there are few, if any, workshops that address the writer’s most basic tool: the English language.
