As an aspiring novelist and Administrative Assistant

for To Write Well

my days are filled with the joys, frustration

and passion of the art and craft of writing.

Join me in exploring the writer's life,

and the world of creativity.

Do you shudder when you think of having to revise your manuscript?

All writers do at one time or another. However, published writers know that revision is the heart and soul of their creativity, not the enemy of it.

Revision is the writer’s greatest opportunity to strengthen and enrich a manuscript so it evokes strong emotions from your readers.

Strong revision creates a memorable manuscript—one that literary agents and publishers want.

Welcome!

Welcome to my new site!

I am so thrilled to have this site up and running. It has been a long trek for me as I have wandered down many paths in attempts to find that perfect one for me. But, it has all been wonderful!

I have to chuckle at how this all came together at the end of the year. Typically, I make all sorts of changes at the beginning of a new year.
This year has exposed for me my love in creating art that has females as the subject. This led to the creation of my site Paisley Goddess. I started playing with the paisley pattern to see where it could go and discovered how fun and versatile the paisley design is. You can see the start of my Paisley gallery at my Imagekind Gallery. Besides the fun and variety of the paisley, Paisley Goddess is devoted to celebrating the fabulous female, and more importantly, to uncovering and enjoying the special gifts we as females possess!

This year, I also delved more into my passion for Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles and I sold a few of my abstract paintings as well as being commissioned for a series.

I want to give a shout out and special “Thanks!” to my family. To my wonderful hubby for supporting me while I meandered and spent countless hours “mulling over stuff” as well as time on the computer setting things up.

To my son, the Internet Marketing Specialist, who helped me learn the basics of online marketing and whose skill of verbose can and will be seen in my work!

To my oldest daughter, who has been so patient in me asking..”.what do you think about this??” Over…and over…and over!!
To my youngest daughter who patiently allows me to photograph her to use in much of my female designs as well as being my fashion guru (more of her expertise in Paisley Goddess coming soon!)

And to my 3 furry, unconditionally loving studio companions…my dog and two cats!!

It has been a learning experience in many ways and I am really looking forward to what is down the road and around the corner!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you around often!
